DeviantART and its mods can officially kiss the fattest part of my ass. It's one thing if various users don't care whether or not a trans person or a neutrois person or what have you can pick a valid option for their gender when asked. It's another thing entirely when you're in charge of the place, you're asked about it, you're then told why it's a problem, and then you piss all over the complaining party and can't even be bothered to apologize for not getting it.

This, on top of some depressingly inconsistent moderation (porn and hate art, anyone?) and excruciatingly irritating ad direction, is why I'm downloading all my art and leaving this account as a shell. Sorry to people who have fav'd any of my work and sorry to my watchers (although you won't be missing much anyway, I haven't updated in like a year), but deviantART clearly doesn't understand the definition of the term 'deviant' anymore.

A tentative retraction of my previous grumbling with regard to DeviantART's ad naggery goes here. I haven't been pestered for quite some time, so for now, I'll start uploading new stuff again.

I'm leaving the dragon species series (and other Gaer-related character stuff) on my SheezyArt account until I'm sure dA doesn't plan on nagging me to death again, since it's a big pain in the ass to transfer everything over.

Here's hoping. I miss uploading.

I'm done putting up with being pestered over and over by messages from dA trying to get me to subscribe. Having a subscription offered perks, but if not having one means not only not having those perks, but being whined at for not having them, I'm not interested anymore.

I'll be transferring all my artwork to SheezyArt, and when I'm done, I'll be deleting it from here. I'll leave this account open so people can see it, but there will be no new artwork uploaded here.

Edit: Funny how it works--once I get fed up, the problem appears to have stopped. Valiant effort, but too late, DeviantART.

So normally I do at least a quickie sketch for Valentine's Day to share my loathing of the holiday with the masses.

However, this year somebody that wasn't a family member sent me roses. So fuck tradition. Today has been just swell.
