Artist's Comments
This was my final project for my Life Drawing course. The theme was 'Distorted self-portrait,' although I don't think when he assigned it that my teacher had been expecting me to do something other than photoshopping my face into a wierd shape.
I love being wierd. I do not like drawing with charcoal at all, however, but it was required. For anybody who cares, I used the reductive method; covered the whole page in vine charcoal, then erased as necessary.
Took about 3 hours and 45 minutes, give or take.
